You’re Toast
What It Is: Inspiration can strike at the oddest moments. I was in a doctor’s office when I heard about this brand from their little looping TV segment. Vermont Novelty Toaster Corporation / Burnt Impressions sells toasters that custom print your choice of shape or image – including photographs! In other words, now you can make selfie toast. Or toast featuring a favourite logo, celebrity, pet, message, naughty images, you name it. It’s pretty much the most fun you’ll have all morning!
Who It’s For: Your kids, to make breakfast fun again. Your coworkers, with the company’s logo and a lifetime supply of bread. Your parents, customized to look like their grandchild. Cause that’s not creepy.
What It Costs: A full set – including a toaster and a set of stainless steel inserts – is $69 USD plus about $20 shipping. You can also just buy the inserts for $39.99 a pop – but you should get their toaster to start.
