That’s The Bowl

Shard Maple Bowl

What It Is: There are a handful of things that I want in my life to feel like I’ve sort of ‘completed’ my kitchen and diningware. One of them is a beautiful, real wood salad bowl – right now when I make salad I serve it up in a sad plastic bowl. These ones from Stinson Studios caught my eye cause they’re made here in Canada from sustainable wood lots. Plus they’re actually pretty reasonably priced and come in a range of styles, from a more rough-hewn ‘bark edge’ bowl to a smooth ‘shard’ bowl like what you see above.

Who It’s For: The bride-to-be, as a lovely shower gift. Your niece or nephew, as a great housewarming present. Your in-laws, as a useful yet thoughtful gift they’ll treasure.

What It Costs: Bowls range in price based on size and finish, but start at $80.

Where It’s At: Shop online here – you can also find their products in select retail locations.
