10 for $10: Stocking Stuffers Edition
By this point a large portion of your holiday shopping should be done…unless you’re the last minute type, in which case I still got you covered my friends. But this week is all about stocking stuffer gift ideas this 2016 holiday season, kicking off with stocking stuffers under $10. As always, tax and shipping aren’t included – but with prices this good you won’t miss spending those extra few cents.
Kikkerland Galaxy Night Light – $6.98 @ Well.ca
Maybe you’re shopping for a fan of space, or maybe you’re outfitting a kid’s room so they can keep an eye out for Santa (or the Tooth Fairy). Whatever the case may be, they’ll like the spacey look this little light can bring (and its matching moon-themed sibling).
Vichy Hand & Nail Cream – $9.95
I don’t know about you, but the winter chill has already wreaked havoc on my hands. Thankfully Vichy is here to save the day with their new hand and nail cream, designed for extremely dry hands (and weather) and offering up sun protection to boot! I love its dual-action power that’ll also help nourish your nails and fight dark spots. A brilliant stocking stuffer she’ll (or he’ll) use all winter long.
Point Zero Socks – $8 each @ Hudson’s Bay
I feel like Point Zero has created a new category: ugly Christmas socks to go with your festively fugly sweaters. Available in over a dozen styles (often in multiple colours per pattern), these quirky socks are festooned with all the trimmings of the season, from spangled trees to glittering snowflakes.
Klen Aromatherapy Shower Steamers – $5 each @ Urban Outfitters
I’m actually obsessed with shower steamers. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of being in a scented steam room you’ll get why an aromatherapy shower experience is so desirable. The concept is simple: Just open a puck and let the water / steam release the vapours for an invigorating (or relaxing) breath of fresh air.
Squish Happy Holidays Mix – $8
A sweet little package of gummies is a delightful way to start off what’s sure to be a sugar-fueled day of presents and good cheer. With three yummy flavours inside – Strawberry Rhubarb, Cranberry + Elderberry, and Grapefruit & Blood Orange – the only challenge will be getting them to share.
eos Vanilla Bean Lip Balm – $4.35 @ Mass Market Retailers
Everyone’s favourite purse-friendly lip gloss has brought back a favourite flavour: Vanilla Bean! Packaged in festive holiday style, this glide-on lip balm is a perfect gift for any eos fan. Psst – you might also want to check out their other gifts (some a little higher than this post’s ‘budget’) for even more inspo.
Garland Travel Pouch – $10 @ DAVIDsTEA
Sample the flavours of the season with this cute and festive travel pouch from DAVIDsTEA. It’s got five single-serve winter teas (like Sweet Almond or Apple Cider) inside so you can drop one into a cup of hot water at a moment’s notice, plus save the pouch to stash your spare change after.
OGX Beauty Sea Mineral Body Lotion and Body Wash – $8.97 each @ Mass Market Retailers
Give the gift of a mini-spa experience every time they step into the shower with one of these luxurious, uber moisturizing products from OGX Beauty. This newly launched line from OGX is infused with Deep Sea Minerals (rich in magnesium, calcium, potassium, and iron), antioxidant-rich Green Algae, and Sea Kelp to soften the skin and help retain its moisture.
Saxon Chocolates Hot Chocolate Marshmallow Stir Sticks – $3.98 @ Well.ca
Think of these little treats as hot chocolate to go. Apparently you add hot milk to a mug and start stirring the chocolate around until it begins to melt, then add the rest of your milk and keep on stirring in the marshmallow for a creamy accent. A perfectly affordable treat for literally everyone in your family.
Marvis Toothpaste – $9 each @ Hudson’s Bay
My husband and I try to gift each other stocking stuffers we’ll actually use – no dust collectors! I like the idea of upgrading your everyday essentials with something special, like these apothecary-inspired tubes of Italian-made toothpaste. Not only do they freshen your breath and whiten teeth, you can test out unique flavours like Jasmin Mint and Ginger Mint.
I’ve got a fun little prize package for a reader of mine today. If you win, you’ll nab Vichy’s Hand & Nail Cream, Squish’s Happy Holiday Mix and some OGX Sea Minerals products. Want to win it? Here’s how to enter:
