Powdered Sugar

cake-dry-shampoo-all-powerdful

What It Is: Leave it to a Canadian beauty brand to solve a pesky problem. If you’ve used dry shampoo, then you’ll note that it’s often made from a white powder – which annoyingly can stand out against almost any colour of hair. Cake’s new The All Powderful solves that problem, however, by offering their talc-free dry shampoo in three hues. It’ll give instant lift to second-day lank locks, plus with a sugary-vanilla scent, it’s akin to scrubbing up with your favourite shampoo anyway. Ingenious!

Who It’s For: Your best friend. Your sister. Your coworker.

What It Costs: $18 a tube.

Where It’s At: Nab it online at Cake’s website. Or try their list of Stockists.

Have never tried dry shampoo – but I would try the one for brunettes and then give it to my niece. I don’t think I have the patience for dry shampoo since I have a pixie cut. My niece, however, has the long lovely locks. I could see her use it regularly.
