Adventure is Out There: Art + Nature Inspires This Canadiana Brand

Balance Explore

What It Is: Today I’m pleased to introduce you to Canmore-based Balance Explore. Created by Robyn Mulligan, a global adventurer and talented artist, this Canadiana cool collection of cards, patches, calendars, and other unique giftware is a perfect choice for anyone that loves our country’s beauty – and a whole lot of colour.

Balance Explore Products

Like many based-in-Canada creators, Balance Explore aims to produce as many goods as close to home as possible, often partnering with local suppliers for a win-win in supporting Canadian business. With an ever-expanding line of goodies (Mala bracelets being a recent addition and enamel pins, matted prints, and fabric buffs in the works), I love the Balance Explore collection as a fun, affordable celebration of Canada and getting back to nature – even when you’re stuck inside.

Who It’s For: Your Rockies-living family members. Your loves-to-camp sibling. Your proud to be Canadian kids.

What It Costs: Prices vary but in general everything is under $25.

Where It’s At: You can shop Balance Explore online or on Etsy for a fuller range of products, for reasonable Canadian shipping prices (from $2.85). The collection is also sold at a range of local retailers in Alberta and craft / farmer’s markets.

Balance Explore Mountain Prize Package

Do you find yourself wistfully wishing you were in the mountains? Then you might love the prize package Robyn from Balance Explore has helped pull together, featuring a handful of mountain-lover themed goodies, including stickers, a pin, a patch, and enamel mugs, valued at nearly $60!
