Canada’s been unseasonably warm this fall so far, am I right? that’s not to say I don’t feel that brisk nip of air in the morning, or that I haven’t been eyeballing my tights, or honestly, dreaming about dipping into my sweater drawers (I’m not a summer clothing lover). As we move further into the season of PSLs and cozy knits, I thought it was the perfect time to introduce you to Fraanklin as October’s Find of the Month.

Based in Toronto, Fraanklin specializes in oversized reversible blanket scarves. Yes, you read that right – three amazing things in one. Many of their scarves are double-faced so you can wear them in two different ways, and for the ones that aren’t, you can simply flip ’em over to keep things looking fresh. The oversized cut means they can be worn as a shawl, wrap, or chunky scarf – perfect for keeping away chilly autumn breezes and over air conditioned offices alike. And the blanket vibes? Let’s just say these scarves are oh so touchably soft. You’ll love them. Seriously. I certainly do – and I’ve highlighted a few of my faves below from their latest collection!

Lina Dakota – $105
Charcoal grey and light greige make this Navajo-inspired scarf a neutral winner in anyone’s wardrobe. Bonus points for being reversible (and like getting two scarves in one!)

Alexa – $105
The loosely Burberry-inspired plaid on one side of this double-faced scarf is totally gorgeous and classically preppy to me. Wondering where to buy Fraanklin? They’ve got a list of Stockists on their site (including Holt Renfrew) or you can just shop online of course!

Lola Bold Stripe – $105
My favourite part of this design is all the mixed patterns – from bold, solid black to a tone-on-tone dot to a classic hatched stripe. It’s black and white that makes a statement.

Jackson Merlot – $105
Mad for plaid but maybe not always? The Jackson Merlot scarf gives you options, with a bright festive red plaid on one side and a totally neutral herringbone beige on the other.
