That Which We Call A Rose…

I’ve had a bit of obsession with rose gold ever since it became relatively trendy in the last few months. The iridescent, multi-faceted shift between shiny-penny copper and blush rose is just so inviting. So even though Valentine’s might be over, I’ve scoped out a few beautiful rose gold pieces any guy or gal would love to add to their collection of trinkets.

Fossil ‘Stella‘ and ‘Grant‘ watches – $160 – $190 @ Fossil

Everyone knows that Fossil makes some of the most reliable and lovely watches out there – so why not pick up a new timepiece that’s completely devoted to this stunning shade? Available in both a men’s and women’s variety, this is a striking statement on any wrist – consider it as a gift for your spouse’s birthday this year.

‘It Starts With Me’ Nail Polish by Nicole by OPI -$10.99 @ Drug / Beauty Stores

Polish off any present with a beautiful shade of shimmery blush from Nicole by OPI. A perfect pick for your best gal pal’s birthday or bachelorette goodie bags.

Vintage Ornate Baroque Oval Mirror – $127 @ TRWPainted

Rose gold is also making a splash in interior design. This vintage resin mirror has been given new life thanks to a coating of metallic paint. Imagine it against a stark white wall or to bring a warm tone to a grey or navy-based palette.

Rose Gold Shoes – $85 @ Supra TK Society

Gents with swagger can get in on the rose gold trend as well – these pumped up kicks are all flash and fash, and not for the faint of heart. But damn if I wouldn’t be tempted to steal them from my guy!

Chloé Love Limited Edition Purse Spray -$82 @ Holt Renfrew / Select Bay Stores

This purse-sized solution to smelling good on the go is only around for a limited time, so head down to your favourite luxury retailer to pick up a pint-sized metallic bottle of Chloé Love complete with two refill tubes – you get all the luxury of a full-sized perfume in a totally portable and practical (check out that attachable lid) package.

Always Beautiful Moroccan Earrings – $68 @ Dogeared

There is something rather exotic about rose gold – it reminds me of the setting sun – so why not channel that with a pair of Moroccan-inspired earrings? These dazzling danglers make a great pick for Mother’s Day.

Laundry by Shelli Segal Sequinned Dress – $265 USD @ Nordstrom

Sparkle bright at your next big event with this shimmery, spangly cocktail dress. Gift it to your sister as a fantastic outfit for her rehearsal dinner, or gift it to your honey so she can shine all night long.

Rose Gold White Dial Ring Watch – $29.99 @ A.D.F.M

Another watch? Sure why not. This one is all kinds of special – rock it on your finger for a twist on the cocktail ring, or wear it on the detachable rose-gold chain necklace for a modern-day update on the pocket watch. HINT: I’m giving away a $50 gift card to A.D.F.M – pick up this time piece by heading over here.
