Flash Post: Tap It Out

What It Is: Reusable glass water bottles in three sizes that proudly declare you are a drinker of tap, and not ‘traditionally’ bottled water. Each bottle is labeled with some fun facts on why the drinker is so much cooler (or at least, eco-friendly) than those bottled-swilling miscreants, including some startling facts like The amount of water needed to produce your bottled water is seven times more than this bottle actually contains. Of course, there is a happy medium – I’d use these to fill with pre-filtered water from my pitcher in the fridge.
Who It’s For: That slightly obnoxious, still idealistic cousin of yours that’s graduating college or high school this month, and needs a bottle they can bring with them to work / school. Your salt of the earth friend / yoga instructor, so they can broadcast some goodwill. Your ‘I can’t be bothered’ coworker, so they can save some dollars on all those bottle goods and join you for lunch every once in awhile.
What It Costs: The bottles range in price from $12.95 to $19.95
Where It’s At: I spotted them on Canadian site NEAT.

What a great idea! I am always surprised by how many people are still buying tons of bottled water — especially when our tap water is so safe! #CGG2
