Flash Post: Between The Sheets

Sheex

What It Is: Behold, what looks to be a normal set of nice but unremarkable sheets. Or are they? These are actually Sheex – the first-ever performance sheets made from athletic fabrics with all kinds of benefits include moisture-wicking, temperature control, and 50% more breathability for sweaty summer nights, durability for multiple washes, precision fit so you can avoid gaping and bunching, and of course, a ridiculously soft feel. Best of all, they come in dozens of sizes and colours to subtly blend in with any decor. Pretty genius.

Who It’s For: Your cousin, as a slightly off-beat wedding gift. Your parents, to deck out their guest room for your family visits. Your spouse, as a practical-yet-suggestive anniversary gift you’ll both benefit from.

What It Costs: Like all sheets, it’s all over the map depending on the size you’re looking for – but a queen set including shams is in the $199 range. You can also invest in sleepwear, duvets, and blankets!

Where It’s At: The Sheex store does ship to Canada, so check it out for yourself.

Subscriber for Sanuk bonus entry – I’m a little hesitant about these – they don’t say WHAT they put in them to make them “performance” – I’ll stick to 100% cotton!

  2. Debbie Bashford says:

Interesting, I wonder how they would be for night sweats for women going through menopause?

I don’t know… wouldn’t you just take off some blankets if it was hot or turn on the AC or open a window…? I think I’ll stick with regular sheets probably. (Sanuk bonus entry!)

I’m a subscriber! I would give these a try because I’m always on the lookout for a nice set of sheets that are crisp and cool feeling!

I’m a subscriber — I think the sheets are a great idea, especially as it feels like those summer nights are right around the corner!

  8. I’m a subscriber – I love the idea of sheets that don’t bunch. Especially if they’re soft, to boot.

I’m a subscriber- Sounds like a good idea but even though they carry many sizes my bed is an Expanded Queen Sleep Number Bed so I guess I’m stuck buying my sheets from the Sleep Number Store.

The Sheex sound very interesting… I would be interested if they do what they claim to do!

  13. Sanuk bonus entry for a subscriber. This sounds like another man made fabric, I would rather stay with cotton, preferably organic… I am disappointed by how much of what we put into our homes and our bodies is based on petroleum somehow and I try to choose things made of glass, wood, metal, natural fibres and that can be recycled whenever I can

I think these Sheex sound great — especially if they wick away moisture and control body temperature! Not in my price range, but would love sleeping on some to see if they live up to their advertised properties!

  15. Alison K says:

Sanuk bonus entry: I’m a a subscriber & Sheex sound like a great idea but again a bit pricey for my budget. All the benefits would be what I’d like in a dream set of bed sheets but yeah they would have to be soft or it wouldn’t matter about the other benefits.

I am a subscriber and would love to have these, I find its hard to buy good quality sheets in Canada
