Bling In The New Year

Time for another round up of some of my Current Covets – this time with a fun jewelry-oriented spin.

Current Covets Bling In The New Year
(From L to R, top and bottom rows)

Aurora Necklace – $29.99 @ JewelMint – The coolest thing about this necklace is it manages to be both statement-making and delicate. With a mid-torso length and opalescent pendant, this is a great transitional piece from winter to spring.

J Rox. Happy Dayz Leather Bracelets – $95 @ eLuxe A good piece of earthy jewelry (or in this case, a mini collection of them) can add a pretty, springy feel to any outfit. I love the Southwestern feel of the stones that are unique to every set.

Acid Brights Stretch Bracelet – $55 @ Banana RepublicI slipped this one onto my wrist the other day and loved it – fits like a dream, adds a wild pop of colour to any neutral outfit, and of course, shines.

Opal Fruit Ring and Asterical Ring – Price Upon Request @ Solange Azagury-Partridge – The intricate details from this designer’s jewelry collection are what make them so jaw-droppingly covetable. These two rings, from the ‘Black Rainbows’ collection, combine precious stones with a veritable rainbow’s worth full of rhinestones. I love the ‘Day of the Dead’ vibe.

Multi Ring Rhinestone Necklace – $6.99 @ Lux Accessories – Yup, you read that right. $6.99. Not bad for a stylish showpiece made from stacks of rhinestone-laden rings. It’s the type of necklace that will literally go with everything in your wardrobe, at an unbeatable price.

Stone Burst Earrings – $65 @ J Crew – Gatsby-esque earrings are still all the rage in most circles, including J Crew, who recently launched these multi-hued dazzlers. Bonus points for the use of coral and mint, two big colours for this upcoming spring fashion season.

Arrow Rings – $15 each @ Jayu – A perfect, subtle way to tip your hat to Valentine’s Day without breaking the bank or going all heartsy. These rings make fab gift for your gal pals or girlfriend, given they’re both adjustable and you can pick the metal that most works with her existing accessories wardrobe.

How about it readers? Want to snap up a bonus entry into this month’s I ā¤ Nail Art giveaway? Tell me in the comments below on this post: would you sport any of these sparkly pieces? Which ones?
