Walk It Off

BungyPump Walkathon SticksWhat It Is: Late last year, I featured a really cool brand I discovered called BungyPump. In summary, this brand has reinvented the walking stick to deliver resistance with every step, maximizing your weight loss benefits when walking by up to 77% (one of the most effective low-impact activities you can do). Check out the full post here. I love staying in touch with the brands I feature, particularly when they’ve got something new in store – and BungyPump does indeed, with what they deem their ‘best poles ever’. Plus, they pointed out to me that their presence up North is increasing, so of course I was happy to share this idea with all of their Canadian fans!

What makes the Walkathon poles ($79 USD) even more awesome? They’re multi-functional! These lightweight poles come with 8.8 lbs of resistance, but with a simple locking mechanism they can also be used as non-springy walking sticks, perfect for hikes in the mountains or treks up a big hill when you don’t really need that extra resistance. Also cool? They come with a free upgrade kit for when you’re ready to increase your resistance to 13.2 lbs. They’re awesome for outdoorsy types that are planning a camping or hiking excursion this summer – they can break down into multiple pieces so they’re just 27″ long, and can be used to either help your training goals or simply make it easier to hit your hiking goals for the day. What’s not to love?

Who It’s For: Your spouse, who is going on a camping trip and would love a good set of walking sticks. Your sister, who joins you on a daily walk and is always admiring your BungyPump sticks. Your daughter, who is looking for a low-impact way to workout while pregnant.

What It Costs: The poles are currently $79 USD – an amazing bargain when you consider their versatility.

Where It’s At: BungyPump’s U.S. store, which ships to Canada.

BungyPump has kindly agreed to share the love with their Canadian fans again by giving away a pair of Walkathon poles! Want to win a set? Here’s how to enter:
