Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed
What It Is: Rimmel London’s first-ever mascara designed to make you look (and feel) more awake. Like all mascaras, this one hones in on one particular feature – basically lifting your lashes up and away from your eyes to diminish any sleepy or drowsy eye syndrome. Formulated with vitamins and cucumber extract, the formula is designed to be gentler on your lashes too, moisturizing them throughout the day. I’ve had the chance to try it myself and I can tell you it does at is says – my lashes were beautifully separated and long, although if you have sparse lashes you might find it doesn’t build up the volume quite as much as you desire. One of my favourite applications for it was on my bottom lashes – the spiral-y brush grips your lower lashes beautifully to define and darken them.
Who It’s For: Your beauty blogging friend, to add to her collection. Your getting-into-makeup niece or daughter, as a nice starter product. Yourself, because what girl doesn’t love trying new mascaras?
What It Costs: $8.49
Where It’s At: Drugstores and mass market retailers across Canada.
