If That’s The Case
What It Is: Summer road trip season may be coming to a close, but I’m sure most of you are already planning your jetsetting adventures abroad for the fall, winter and beyond (I know I have!) If so, then you may be looking at that grungy old suitcase that looks like every other suitcase on the baggage carousel and wondering how you can help it stand out to avoid that traveler faux pas of grabbing the wrong bag. Enter UGOBAGS, a relatively new company that produces stunning hardshell bags with an array of custom artwork. You can browse their existing designs like the four above, but you can also opt for something totally custom – a favourite vacation snap, a beloved pet, or a piece of artwork. No matter what route you go, you can also tailor the case and handle colour for a truly stand out suitcase.
Who It’s For: Your ‘travels for business’ spouse, to remind them of who loves them when they’re abroad. Your ‘visiting Europe’ niece or nephew, to help their bag stand out from the back. Your ‘off to college’ son or daughter, to pack their belongings and always have a bag handy for trips.
What It Costs: Prices start at $199 USD for a small bag and go up to $299. Shipping is $25.
Where It’s At: Order online here.
BONUS ENTRY into my Sabaa Tahir book series giveaway – tell me in the comments below, what do you think about this gift idea? What would you get printed on it?
I would have the names of countries visited
I’d put a custom painting on it. One that was done by my sister who is an artist.
I would have a picture of my house printed on it where I come back to recharge
Love this idea and I would get one of my daughter’s paintings on it.
Love it, picture from trip to Amalfi coast on mine
Love this …I Think I would put “On The Road Again” what a great idea!
I like this idea, at the airport it would be nice to stand out from the sea of black. I am a subscriber. I would get my pet printed on it.
Great idea. We always did something to our bags to try to make them stand out. I would do a picture of the downtown skyline as taken from our condo.
I don’t think I would be investing in a pricey bag that the airlines would damage. I wouldn’t call myself a frequent flyer but I’ve had 3 suitcases damaged beyond use in the last 5 years and 2 others marked up badly.
I like the idea of a personalized bag, but doubt I would spend the money. I would probably put something like “Discover the world” on my bag.
Sure why not, they look fun and vibrant!
I would love a pictures of my fav. travel photos. I love these! I really like that your bag will always be easy to spot on the baggage carousel.
Love the idea but not the price. I’d put VanGogh’s Sunflowers on mine.
Pricey but one of a kind. I would put travel picture postcards on mine.
These are a really neat idea. I have a great picture I took at sunset that I would put on mine.
