Smart Thinxing
What It Is: More and more women are looking for eco-friendly alternatives to tampons and pads (guys, you can exit stage left if you’re already uncomfortable). Hence the rise in popularity of things like the cup. THINX has added their own product to the mix – a line of comfortable undies that can also provide period protection – up to two tampons’ worth per pair! With six different styles to suit your style and your flow level, you can mix and match THINX (which currently come in two colours per style) to create a cycle set. THINX panties are made from a unique fabric that absorbs your, ahem, fluids, keeping you totally dry, leak-free, and without that awkward ‘diaper’ feeling. Still anxious about this newfangled concept? You can always rock them as a backup pair with your other primary choice of protection, like a tampon or cup. Finally, some lingerie you’ll feel great about investing in!
Who It’s For: Your best friend, who loves to travel and could use these in a pinch. Your sister, who’s always in sync with your cycle. Yourself, cause you deserve some period peace of mind.
What It Costs: Each pair is $24-$38 USD, although if you buy multiples you save money. If you want to save $10 off your first purchase, use my referral link!
Where It’s At: You can nab THINX online here. And yes, they ship to Canada.

[…] THINX Underwear – $24 USD+ I think these are so smart. They’re eco-friendly undies that’ll allow you to forgo a liner or pad during your period – with a leak-proof guarantee. […]
These are a great way to reduce waste and save money, I would try them!
I would try it. My pick would be the sport style
I’m not sure about daytime use, but I think these would make great back up at night.
glad I am past this stage
No longer need.
This is one I would pass on if I still needed them.
I have had a heavy period all my life.. UGH !! I think these would be great because, I have my panties that I wear during my period, due too past leakage. I wear these so I can bleach the heck out of them, just incase I leak onto these panties again. So I would DEFINATELY TRY this new technology !!!
I like both the HIPHUGGER and the SPORT styles in the black color. However, with my period style, I would have to narrow it down to the ** THINX HIPHUGGER ** style !!
Wife thinks they are gimmicky
I probably wouldn’t try these.
I would love to try these especially at night. I can’t stop leaking!
I would use as a backup but not primary.
I’m glad I’m past all that, so no need here.
I was very temped to give these a try, even had a pair on my basket. But even with $10 I just couldn’t bring myself to spend $30USD on one pair without having tried them first.
I would try the sport and cheeky ones.
I probably would have tried the sports style along with other protection if I was still in that place in my life.
I’d totally give these a shot! The thong style would be great for light days.
no
Sounds like an interesting idea. I would like the HIPHUGGER style.
BONUS Present Day Gifts ENTRY: I would totally try THINX considering the worst is a shifting pad. I would try the BOYSHORT style.
I think it’s a great idea. I’d try the sports style.
Bonus present day gifts entry
I would try these out …and I agree with Alison in shifting pads is the worse!
Too late for me but my sporty daughter might try the boy shorts
These look so comfy! I’d definitely try them!
BONUS ENTRY: I would love to try THINX
I’m past that stage in my life, but even so, I don’t think I’d try these.
I love the idea of trying these… and I’d like the bikini style.
maybe as a backup… maybe. I like the the thong style.
I bought these for my daughter for Christmas last year. She absolutely loves them. I got her an assortment of styles and they were all winners. She tells me they have changed the lace on some of them now and is looking forward to trying the new ones. Guess that helps out with her Christmas list this year again.
