Santa Claus is Coming To Town
Tomorrow in fact. That’s right folks. Santa Claus will be pulling his sleigh into town tomorrow evening. Saturday Christmas Eves are always weird to me because it still feels like you have plenty of time to shop. But uh, it’s really tomorrow. Anyway, the good news is I have one last little guide below to some great last minute gifts you can easily pick up (if you’re in a major Canadian city).

Even if you can’t track down an exact item, hopefully these gift ideas (and stores) will inspire you to find something else that’s equally special. Kokeshi Set of 3 Mini Valeria Fragrances – $29.99 @ Shoppers Drug Mart: There are over a thousand Shoppers Drug Marts across Canada. Raid their Beauty Boutique department for hot gifts for him and her, like these adorable figurine fragrances.
Aqua Karaoke Singing Machine – $159.99 @ Toys “R” Us: Boys, girls, kids of any age – they all love to sing. Let them channel their inner pop star with a kid-friendly karaoke machine.
Netatmo Healthy Home Coach – $119.99 @ Best Buy: This smart indoor climate monitor tracks and records air quality, humidity, temperature and noise and offers advice to improve indoor climate and keep things comfortable for everyone (or as comfortable as you can get when the kids are fighting and the in-laws are sniping…)
Men’s Buffalo Plaid Backpack – $38.50 @ Indigo: The gift ideas at Indigo are endless, but this functional backpack is both trendy and timeless in one neat little package. Stuff it with books and other awesome gifts while you’re shopping.
Sweater-Knit Pom-Pom Beanie for Women – $11.50: Stores like Old Navy are already launching their Boxing Day sales, meaning if you’re a last minute shopper, at least you’ll have a chance to score deals while you’re braving the crowds.

Oscar movie season is just around the corner – let them enjoy some of the year’s best films at home in comfort with some movie style popcorn to munch on.
Graelian Clutch – $50 @ Aldo: I always keep in mind that NYE is the next ‘big event’ after Xmas – it’s a fun idea to gift someone something they’ll love for NYE now, like this spangly sequinned lucite clutch.
