Current Covets: Bag Lady
In the last year or so I’ve really started to love handbags. I’m not an avid collector of them, but I’ve really weaned myself off of ‘fashion’ bags from the likes of Aldo or Forever 21 that fall apart within a season’s worth of use, and am instead investing in more sturdy bags that’ll last years with good care. The problem? Bag buying is addictive. With that in mind, here are a few more I’m currently coveting…drool with me if you dare.

Dusty Rose Suede Embroidered Venice Crossbody in Dusty Pink – $120 @ TOMS: I’m not normally a saddle bag, small bag, or crossbody bag person, but lately I’ve been changing my tune. I love the soft southwestern-inspired pink of this bag that’s perfect for a light day trip.
Mini Milck Clutch – Braid in Gunmetal – $350 @ Ela: Not going to lie, every bag and clutch on the Ela website is giving me the swoons. This hip Canadian brand is making a case to be amongst the greats when it comes to covetable designer bags.
Phi Vegan Leather Bag in Glass – $135 @ Matt & Nat: When I saw this ‘glass’ minty-blue colour, I immediately did a search on the Matt & Nat site to see all the bag designs it comes in. I was drawn to the twofer-appeal of this oversized clutch / shoulder bag. But honestly I’d take any bag in this pretty colour!
Robson Lane Darcy in Cherry Wood – $398 USD @ Kate Spade: A friend and I were gushing over this cool hue from Kate Spade – a not quite brown, not quite red colour that’s super versatile. It comes in a few styles but I liked the simplicity and polish of this shoulder style.
Emma Tote in Bright Stripe – $286 @ Fossil: The Fossil ‘Sydney’ tote is one of my favourite designs ever (I own two) and the Emma is a worthy successor. I dig the mix of classic brown leather with bright colours on this spring-ready tote.
Keep Leaf Lunch Bag in Hearts – $21.95 @ Indigo: I’m in the market for an adult-friendly lunchbag to tote to the office; this whimsical design might do the ticket! Not into the hearts? There’s tons of other patterns to pick from.

I really love the robson lane darcy, by Kate Spade but I prefer the Nutmeg color to the Cherry wood one.
My two favourites are the Matt and Nat Phi Glass Vegan Leather Bag, and the Robson Land Darcy in Cherry Wood.
