What It Is: Believe it or not…light sculptures. Designed by Canadian brand Blue Pine Studios, these optical illusions provide an attractive piece of eye candy, can be set to 16 different colours to suit your mood, and cast a subtle ambient light around them. Not only that…I mean, they’re super fun to try and ‘touch’ – it’s like artwork the Jetsons would have had, if we lived in their version of our world. With over 20 designs to choose from, you’ll find familiar shapes mixed in with neat abstract designs like. What’s particularly cool is you can buy the base once, and then buy separate ‘plates’ to change up your light design.
Who It’s For: Your boss, as the perfect accent for their office. Your kid, as a cool item to decorate their college dorm. Your sibling, as a quirky housewarming pick.
What It Costs: $125 per light; the separate plates are $25 each as of writing this.
