Trend Watch: Dusty Rose

I’ve been writing some fashion content for other projects I work on lately, and one colour keeps on popping up: Dusty rose. I don’t think it’s the HUGEST trend of all time, but it’s a neat little micro trend I spotted this season that I’d thought I share, in case any of you dig this pinky-taupey-russet hue.

From L to R, Top to Bottom

Layers Gonna Play Jacket – $69.99 @ ModCloth: The classic 80s bomber jacket is having a major fashion moment right now – I love the stonewashed feeling of this coat’s color married with a soft pink hue.

Shake, Rattle & Roll Lip Trio – $14 @ ColourPopLabelled as the brand’s ‘true’ dusty rose, this trio of products will give you stay-all-day colour in a matter of seconds.

Peach Pink Pleated Skirt – $59 @ Simon’sDusty rose can go into peachy-pink territory for sure, although it’s typically a little less brassy than this fun pleated skirt. No matter, this shimmery skirt is a perfect pick for work to whatever.

Ilia Multi-Stick – $44 @ SephoraPart blush, part lippie, part whatever you need it to be, this multi-tasking chubby makeup stick is the best thing for traveling in a neutral berry hue like dusty rose.

Camila Dress – $260 @ AnthropologieMeet your new best friend when it comes to wedding guest attire. This flowy maxi dress feels effortless yet formal.

Grawn Pink Backpack – $65 @ ALDOProof that dusty rose can work on edgier designs. Pairing this trendy muted hue with another huge seasonal trend (embroidery) makes this bag double fresh.
