10 for $10: In the Bag Edition
This month’s 10 for $10 is the same ol’ when it comes to format – 10 gift ideas for $10 or less, not including tax or shipping. This month I’m focusing in on bags of any form; makeup bags, change purses, totes, wallets, you name it! If it’s something you can load up, it’ll be on this list. Cause after all, a gal (or guy) can never have too many bags.

Not going to lie – it was hard to pick just one bag from the dozens under $10 at Forever 21. But the mass appeal of this slightly spacey tote caught my eye (as did its iridescent sibling). Perfect for toting books, lunch, or everyday essentials.

I’m not sure what’s cuter – the candy-coloured colour blocking on this fun tote (which comes in 3 other combos if the pink on melon combo above doesn’t strike your fancy) or the whimsical heart keychain that comes with it.
Transparent Mini Pouch – $8 @ Urban Outfitters
It’s sparkly! And clear! And sort of like 90s jelly sandals but in a cute little pouch form! I love this little zip pouch for keeping your essentials together in the vast sea of your purse (or for a night at the bar when a purse just won’t do). Pick it up in blush pink (above) or silver.
Y Crossbody Bag with Tassel – $10 @ Bentley
Looking for something a little simple that’ll go with everything? Look no further than this affordable shoulder bag. I love it for days when you need to downsize – like attending a sporting event or a concert. Also available in classic black.
Ice Cream Wristlet – $5.99 @ Urban Planet
When you’re strolling to the nearest convenience store for a popsicle on a hot summer day, skip the heavy tote bag and opt for this cute wristlet instead. Stash spare coins, your ID, and a tube of lip gloss for a night out with the girls.

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve seen less experienced travelers have their beauty products tossed at security. Prepare yourself – instead of stocking up on CATSA-issue plastic bags at the airport (which uh, I totally do), nab this slightly more durable option that meets international flight standards for transporting liquids – and looks chic to boot.
