Game Face: YULU Is Changing Family Game Night

Break Free Game

What It Is: YULU is a toy and game designer that’s putting an active spin on ‘board’ games, with two new releases that capitalize on hot trends right now like escape rooms and puzzles. Break Free is perfect for up to four players, and challenges you to literally pick the lock on a handcuff attached to your wrist. With 12 different maze puzzles to navigate at 3 different difficulty levels, the first play to break free scores a token. The most tokens with the highest value at the end wins!

Safe Breaker Game

Safe Breaker, meanwhile, is perfect for anyone that’s dreamed of an Ocean’s 11 moment in their lives. Pairing spy skills with memory (and of course, a bit of luck), each player will attempt to crack a safe using different numbers. If they’re wrong, they can listen for a hint – but be warned, a wrong move could tip off the cops and cause you to return your loot to the safe!

Both games are designed for kids (and adults!) ages 6 and up, and are the perfect way to capture the kids’ imagination – away from screens!

Who It’s For: The grandkids, to keep them entertained. The birthday boy or girl. Your daycare center.

What It Costs: Break Free is $25 and Safe Breaker is $30.

Where It’s At: Walmart and Toys “R” Us

Want to win a copy of each of these fun family games? YULU has teamed up with me to give the two of them away to one lucky winner. Here’s how to enter for your chance to win Break Free and Safe Breaker!

1) First off! You must be a Canadian Gift Guide subscriber to enter this giveaway. Just find the ‘Gift of Gab’ box on the righthand side of this page and either hit ‘Follow’ or enter your email address. Once you’ve done that, leave me a comment below telling me which of these two games you’re most excited to try, and why! You’ve got till September 9, 2017

2) Entries are limited to one per person / per email address / per household (or more if you score bonus entries). A random draw will be conducted on or around September 10, 2017 to select the winner(s), who will have 48 hours to respond before another winner is chosen in their place.

3) Entries are limited to Canadians that have reached the age of majority in their province. Quebec is not eligible for this promotion.

4) Bonus Entry: Share a post on the social media channel of your choice promoting these games and use the hashtag #BreakFreeChallenge. Link back to your social media post in a separate comment below to earn an extra entry into the draw.
