My boyfriend is pretty convinced I should get a custom-made bobblehead for him. I beg to differ. Anyway, in today’s world, bobbleheads still have a weird place in our hearts, and on our desks. Many of my friends have had Potter-inspired desk decor in the past, from a Golden Snitch to a light-up wand, and now there’s something new to add to the mix in the form of Potter bobbleheads.

Created by NECA and available on Amazon.ca, each bobblehead is 8″ tall and features a caricature of your favourite trio of magical misfits – Ron, Hermione, and Harry. The full collection is available for $80, or you can buy each character on their own for $30, if say, gingers aren’t your thing.

I actually dig these things, mostly because they’re very ugly, but kind of cool at the same time. The Potterverse is MASSIVE when it comes to branded accessories, so it’s funny to see them finally end up in the realm of ticky tack like bobbleheads.

Also of note, the 7th Harry Potter film is now out on Blu-Ray and DVD for around $20-$30, depending on where you shop. If you’re interested in hosting a film fest, you can also score all 7 films in a gift set for $95 (Blu-Ray), although I don’t know why you’d do that when you can just wait until the final film is released, probably conveniently around Christmastime.
