Stars In Their Eyes

Star Theater ProWhat It Is: Although my astronomy teacher taught me that fall is a great time of year to see the galaxy, if it’s a little chilly you may not be too keen on gazing upward for too long. The Star Theater Pro brings 10,000 stars into your home that rotate around the room, making it feel like the ceiling has been blown right off. With two different image disks and an included ‘Planetarium Music’ album to set the mood, spend a romantic, warm evening indoors any time of year staring at the stars.

Who It’s For: Your aspiring astronaut niece or nephew, to give them a jump start on learning the cosmos. Your totally loved astronomy in University spouse, to indulge their nerdier sensibilities. Your sister and her family, for a unique way to spend an evening in together.

What It Costs: $199 (although it seems other models by the same manufacturer are available for a range of prices)

Where It’s At: Amazon.ca
