The Sweet Life
What It Is: You’ve heard of gourmet salts, but this is a little different: A collection of four gourmet sugars, each with its own unique flavour. From cocktail-friendly rum-soaked sugar and lime slice sugar through to rub enhancers like coconut breeze sugar and jamaican ginger sugar, this is one sweet set! You can buy ’em separately or as a set. It should also be noted, as per the brand’s name, Old Salt Merchants also sells a pretty expansive lineup of salts, some of which are sold in two-packs or four-packs with some of their sugars.
Who It’s For: Your cocktail connoisseur pal, to deck out their bar. Your parents, for rimming their slushy margaritas at their next BBQ. Your would-be gourmet chef sibling, to infuse into their next yummy recipe.
What It Costs: $10 a bottle. Fair warning – shipping’s a flat $20. I recommend ordering as much as you can to make the most of that slightly hefty fee.
Where It’s At: Old Salt Merchants.
